Police are continuing to investigate a possible link between a disturbance in a village park and the death of a grandmother.

Officers were called to an incident involving a number of youths in the vicinity of Onchan Park on the evening of Tuesday, August 11.

A short time later, Lesley Cubbon, 73, was found dead inside her home which was near where the incident happened.

Detectives are investigating whether her tragic death is linked to the anti-social behaviour.

A police spokesman said ’We are working closely with the family. The police community team along with PEAT (Police Early Action Team) are continuing with inquiries.’
