Police are this morning asking for help in their inquiry into the theft of three lawnmowers.
The thefts took place some time between Saturday, February 8, and Wednesday, February 12. But they have issued the appeal only today.
The mowers were stolen from a property in Ballasalla.
One has has been recovered thanks to what the police said was "an observant person".
The missing items are a MacAllister lawn mower and a brand new, boxed Flymo.
Police would be eager to identify and speak with a man who was seen in the Orrisdale Road area of Ballasalla, during daylight hours on Monday or Tuesday (February 10 or 11).
This man drove a white vehicle, possibly a Ford Focus, or similar.
He is described as being a white male, in his twenties, of muscular/large build, around 6ft 2ins in height and wearing a grey woollen hat.
He was possibly wearing blue jeans and a gilet puffer or ribbed top over another long sleeved garment.
