A man was seriously assaulted in the toilets of a nightclub in the early hours yesterday.
It happened in the men’s toilets of the Courthouse nightclub, Athol Street, Douglas.
The 24-year-old victim ended up with received serious head injuries, the police say.
He is currently receiving treatment in hospital. At this time his injuries are believed to be serious but not life threatening.
Police have arrested a 32-year-old man in connection with the incident.
He has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
