Police are investigating the sudden death of a 44-year-old martial arts instructor.

Scott Caldwell was found in the area of Trollaby Lane, Union Mills, yesterday (Monday). Police say that although the cause of his death is unexplained, the circumstances are not believed to be suspicious.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have seen Mr Caldwell or had contact with him on Monday morning or in the days leading up to that date.

They should contact Detective Constable Richard Cubbon at Douglas police headquarters on 631212.

In 2016, Mr Caldwell launched a home and business security scheme.
