The motorcyclist who died in a crash on the Mountain Mile at the weekend has been named.
Michael John Perry, 50, from Kirk Michael, sustained fatal injuries in the single-vehicle collision near the 28th Milestone at about 3.45pm on Sunday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is underway to establish the cause of the collision.

Other than those who spoke to police at the scene, officers are keen to speak to anyone else who may have seen the collision or the events leading up to it.
Police thanked the members of the public who stopped at the scene to assist the emergency services.
