Police are appealing for witnesses after a fight broke out on Douglas promenades last night (Friday).

The incident involving a group of men took place at about 11.20pm.

Police said the area was busy at the time and there were several people walking around along with vehicles driving past.

Witnesses are asked to contact Constable Barrett at police headquarters on 631212.
