Police in the west of the island are appealing for information after vandals targeted a plantation.

A group of trees in Archallagan plantation were daubed with graffiti some time between Saturday August 17 and Wednesday August 21. Several trees have been spray painted with faces, logos and phrases.

Anyone who can help police identify those responsible is asked to contact Peel police station on 842208.

Alternatively, they can provide information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
