Police are investigating the theft of scrap metal from a unit on the Balthane Industrial Estate in Ballasalla.
The incident took place between 5.45am and 6am on Tuesday (January 22) from outside Macro Metal Services Ltd.
Police believe the suspect was driving a dark-coloured car, possibly a BMW.
Some businesses were opening up at this time so it is possible this vehicle may have been seen.

Some £50 worth of scrap metal was stolen.
Police want to hear from anyone who has been offered cheap scrap metal.
