A man will be appearing in court today after the seizure of a large amount of cannabis.

Police say they seized around £196,000 worth of the Class B controlled drug cannabis from a vehicle in Pulrose, Douglas.

A 52-year-old man from Liverpool has subsequently been charged with serious drugs offences.

Detective Sergeant Vinny Lund said: ’It’s yet another substantial seizure of cannabis on the island and with the public’s help we can make further seizures.
