The police have thanked the public for their responses to their social media post from yesterday, which appealed for information following reports of an adult male and two children having disappeared from view on the Quay in Castletown at around 4.50pm Friday.
The police stated that following enquiries they do not believe that anyone has ended up in danger or entered the water, and that it is highly likely the three individuals would have left the area.
However, the constabulary has encouraged the public to still get in contact if they have any useful information regarding the adult male and two children who were seen yesterday afternoon, in order to clarify for sure that they had left the Quay area and that nobody is in danger.
