Police are investigating a hit and run traffic collision in Onchan.

The incident took place today (Sunday) at just before 4pm when a white van parked on the nearside of Seaview Road was damaged after it was struck by a silver pick-up style van similar to a Nissan Navara.

The silver pick-up lost a wing mirror in the collision but the driver failed to stop and was seen to quickly speed away from the area.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed a vehicle like this with a missing wing mirror.
