A 28-year-old Douglas man has been fined £500 for possession of cocaine.
Liam Bradley, of Castlemona Avenue, admitted having the class ’A’ drug as well as cannabis.
Magistrates also ordered him to pay £125 prosecution costs.
Prosecuting advocate Roger Kane told the court that police executed a search warrant at an address in Springfield Avenue in Douglas, where Bradley was living at the time, on November 18 at 10.30pm.
The search found 2.62 grams of cocaine, valued at £262, and 0.1 grams of cannabis, said to be worth £3.
Defence advocate Ian Kermode asked for credit to be given for his client’s guilty plea and admissions in police interview.
Bradley will pay the fine and costs at a rate of £20 per week.
