Police are investigating after an inmate at the Isle of Man Prison was found dead.

The prisoner was found dead this morning (Tuesday) on the jail’s F Wing.

A government spokesman said the death is unrelated to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Coroner of Inquests has been informed and thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.
