The 'Top Shop’ in Pulrose was burgled this morning.

Police want to speak with a man who was walking his dog near to the shop when the burglary took place.

Detective Sergeant Bobby Syme said: 'We know that a stolen black 4x4 vehicle was used to leave the area after the burglary but this has since been recovered by the police.

'This vehicle was located shortly after on waste ground off Circular Road, Douglas, which is accessed off a service lane that joins Hope Street and St George’s Street.

'I am appealing to anyone who may have seen this vehicle being driven or left in this area to get in touch with officers.’

The 'Top Shop’ in Pulrose should not be confused with the Top Shop chain shop that sells clothes.
