The fire and rescue service [IOMFRS] have attended two car crashes in today’s poor weather conditions.
The first was a single vehicle collision early this morning in Glen Helen.
The car appeared to have collided with a stone wall running along the roadside.
The IOMFRS stated that the occupant suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution, and to be sure to drive carefully and to the conditions considering the day’s inclement weather.
The second crash later in the day involved two cars at Beach Road, Port St. Mary.
Rescue crews removed the roof of the four-door Audi in order to extract the occupant from it, who was then treated by ambulance personnel.
