Douglas RNLI went to the aid of a fishing boat with three people on board.
The crew was called out today (Saturday) at about 10am following a report the boat had suffered electrical failure.
The 7m fishing boat with three people on board had left Douglas harbour and then got into difficulty as itn passed Douglas Head lighthouse.
All-weather lifeboat Sir William Hillary, with deputy second coxswain Graeme Cushnie at the helm, was launched in misty and foggy conditions.
The boat was found quickly and towed back to harbour.
