The incident happened shortly after 8am when two appliances from Ramsey Fire Station and an aerial appliance from Douglas attended the scene.
On arrival crews found a faulty display oven which was smoking badly.
They isolated the unit and checked for fire spread to surrounding areas.
Crews were in attendance for about 10 minutes and the shop was re-opened shortly afterwards.
