Police in Douglas are appealing for information after the St John Ambulance headquarters was vandalised.

Between 3pm on Saturday May 30 and 9am on Monday June 1 a window was damaged at the St John Ambulance headquarters building on Glencrutchery Road.

It appears that a sharp implement or a stone was used.

A police spokesman said: ’St John Ambulance is a charity doing valuable work to keep our community safe. This damage is senseless and will have a financial impact diverting funds from their services.’

Anyone with information is requested to contact PC 303 Rebekah Collings at police headquarters on 631212. Or anonymously report information by contacting crimestoppers on 0800555111.
