A 29-year-old man who has admitted stalking a woman was this week granted bail.
Charles Tyrer, of Cobbold Place, Ballasalla, is due to be sentenced on October 12 after admitting conduct amounting to harassment.
At that time he didn’t make an application for bail saying that he did not want to be ’told where to live’.
However, on Tuesday, the court heard that a place at probation accommodation Tromode House was available and Tyrer was bailed to reside there until his sentencing.
On the front page of August 5’s Manx Independent we reported that Tyrer let himself into his victim’s house, moved furniture, mowed her lawn, bombarded her with gifts and turned up at her work place.
