A number of roads around the island remain closed as the clean up operation from Storm Doris continues.

Closed roads include:

- The main Douglas to Castletown Road between Ballasalla and the Orrisdale junction

- Old Castletown Road between the Nunnery and Ballavale junction

- King Edward Road and Groudle Road, in Onchan

- Sir George’s Bridge at Abbeylands

- West Baldwin and East Baldwin roads

- Belmont Hill, Lower Dukes Road, Pulrose Road and Albany Road, in Douglas

- Old Church Road, Crosby

- The Monks Bridge area of Ballasalla

- Axnfell.

Axenfell, areaThe airport is due to reopen shortly after a Van-Air/Citywing aircraft was able to be moved off the runway.It had landed safely at Ronaldsway after being diverted back from Belfast. Passengers were bused to the terminal but the aircraft could not be moved in the high winds, resulting in both runways being closed.
