Detectives have named a woman who has been found dead in suspicious circumstances.

The body of 39-year-old Lynsey Martin, also known as Lynsey Skelly-Martin, from Ramsey, was discovered in old quarry in woodland near to Ramsey Hairpin on Sunday morning.

Police believe this was an isolated incident and the public are not at risk.

Detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward.

They would particularly like to hear from anyone with a vehicle dashcam who was driving along the TT Course past the Hairpin and along May Hill in either direction between Saturday evening from 10.30pm and 2am on Sunday morning. They are asked to contact CID on 631212.
