A Ramsey teen has admitted affray after a fight at St Christopher’s after care centre.

Lewis Jack Moulder Kelly, of North Shore Road, was involved in the scuffle on April 10 with the two men said to be throwing punches and grappling on the ground.

Prosecutor Hazel Carroon said staff at the facility in Hope Street in Douglas called ’999’.

A witness said Kelly, 19, made a remark about the other man ’dobbing him in’ and the pair had started fighting. The witness described the two as ’knocking hell out of one another’, screaming and shouting.

Advocate Kate Alexander said her client had another possible matter pending and asked for a week’s adjournment.

The report said Kelly claimed he had been acting in self-defence. The case was adjourned to Tuesday.

Bail was granted.
