A teenager has admitted possessing ecstasy and cannabis at Noble’s Hospital.
Charlotte Louise Roney, aged 18, of Hillside Avenue, Douglas, will be sentenced on September 25 after a probation report has been completed.
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes ordered that the report should consider all options, including custody.
Prosecutor Barry Swain told the court how, at 2.05am on May 24, police were called to Merton Bank in Douglas after reports of a disturbance between Roney and her ex-partner.
Her ex had injured his arm so the pair both went to the hospital.
Once there, they began arguing loudly, shouting and swearing.
Due to Roney’s behaviour police searched her and found 79 grams of cannabis said to be worth £417.
Roney then pulled a package out of her bra, which was found to contain 12 ecstasy tablets with a street value of between £120 and £180.
Defence advocate Kate Alexander asked for an adjournment so that a probation report could be completed.
Bail was granted in the sum of £500.
