A Douglas teenager has pleaded guilty to a provoking behaviour charge after an incident outside Noble’s Hospital.

Zachariah James Dean Moore, aged 18, of Albany Road, also admitted damaging a car by kicking it during a row with his girlfriend.

A Newton Hearing had been scheduled to take place in November after Moore disputed the prosecution’s version of events but he has since changed his mind.

We previously reported how, on June 10, police were called to a domestic incident involving Moore and his girlfriend, which resulted in Moore being taken to hospital. The couple argued in the car park where Moore had to be restrained by porters after kicking the car. He will be sentenced on August 29.
