A driver had to be cut from the wreckage of this crash on the Mountain Road this morning (Monday).
Emergency services were called at 7.20am to reports of a two vehicle collision near Keppel Gate.
A woman was trapped in the car and had sustained serious injuries.
Fire crews crew stabilised the vehicle and then extricated the casualty using hydraulic cutting equipment.

The woman was transferred by ambulance to Noble’s Hospital.
Fire crews remained at the scene for a short to ensure the vehicle was made safe ready for recovery.
The road remains closed while a crash investigation is carried out.
