Roads are open in Castletown again after emergency services dealt with a hazardous material in the town.
Fire service crews have now isolated the products involved and made the area safe.
A fire service spokesman said: ’We thank people everyone for their patience unfortunately this type of incident can’t be rushed and requires a measured approach.’
Earlier today, people in Castletown were warned to stay in their houses with windows closed as the emergency services dealt with a hazardous material.
The incident happened in Station Garage, Victoria Road.
There was no risk to people in or near Victoria Road Primary School.
