All three emergency services responded to a single vehicle crash in Douglas earlier this morning.

At 10.30am, the emergency service workers were mobilised by the Emergency Services Joint Control Room to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision in the area of Vicarage Road, Douglas.

The occupant was out of the vehicle as the services arrived and fire crews administered initial first aid and further assisted the Isle of Man Ambulance Service.

Appliances remained in attendance for a short while to ensure the vehicle was made safe ready for recovery.

The road was closed for a short period but has now reopened.
