Fire crews from Laxey and Ramsey this afternoon dealt with a fire at a property near the Corrany Estate, Glen Mona, Maughold.

A member of the public spotted a wheelie bin on fire.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, which had spread to a wood store and threatened the garage.

They remained in attendance for about 40 minutes damping down and checking the fire had not spread to the garage or house.
