Police in Douglas are appealing for information after a car hit a pedestrian this afternoon.

At about 1.25pm, a car collided with the pedestrian at the junction of Alder Road and Springfield Road, Douglas.

The vehicle was described as a small silver hatch back and was being driven by a female with a blonde ponytail.

During the incident another vehicle stopped carrying some young males who briefly spoke to the pedestrian. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact PC Rebekah Collings at Police HQ on 631212.
