A Ballasalla woman has pleaded guilty to a charge of drink-driving.
Laura Bailey, of Abbots Way, is however disputing the breathalyser reading due to post-driving consumption.
The 32-year-old was arrested by police at home on March 29.
She had previously pleaded not guilty to the offence but on Tuesday changed her plea to guilty.
A breathalyser test produced a result of 104 - the legal limit is 35.
But Bailey says that she had drunk a large glass of wine after arriving home and an expert’s report calculated that the reading, taking that into account, would have been 52.
Prosecutor James Robinson said that Bailey’s version of events was being disputed and a Newton Hearing will be held to settle the difference.
Bailey entered a basis of plea saying she had been working in Douglas and consumed a 125ml glass of prosecco at 11.45am.
She said that she then had a 175ml glass of house wine in The Thirsty Pigeon at around 6pm before driving home.
Once home, Bailey said she drunk another glass of wine which she thought was around 250ml, before police arrived and breathalysed her.
The Newton Hearing will be held on November 13.
Bail continues.
