A 23-year-old Onchan woman has admitted drug trafficking as well as possessing LSD and cannabis.
Sophia Miriam Daisy Russell, of Royal Court, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis, two counts of possession of cannabis, and one of possession of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD).
She was committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery and will appear there on December 16.
Prosecuting advocate Barry Swain told the court that police went to Russell’s home address on June 14.
A smell of cannabis was said to be coming from the premises and a search found £25 worth of LSD and £98 worth of cannabis.
Conversations found on Russell’s phone included ones saying: ’Have you got pot?’ and ’Can you get a slab of pollen for cash?’ to which she had replied: ’I can get slabs of pollen’.
Mr Swain said that the combination of offences may tip it over into the higher court.
The court heard that Russell has no previous convictions.
High Bailiff Jayne Hughes said that the fact that the supply charge had occurred over an 18-month period had prompted her to send the case to the Court of General Gaol Delivery for sentencing.
Bail was granted in the sum of £500 with conditions that Russell reside at her home address and not leave the island without court permission.
