Nine juvenile cannabis plants were found growing in a wardrobe of a home in Ramsey.
Layla Charley Callister-Fida, aged 24, of Maycroft Apartments, has admitted cultivating cannabis at her home and will be sentenced on July 23 after a probation report has been prepared.
Police found nine cannabis plants during a search of Callister-Fida’s home on April 7.
Prosecutor Roger Kane told the court that police had initially been called to the property at 1.30am after a report of a disturbance.
A hydroponic tent was found behind a wardrobe with nine juvenile plants.
Callister-Fida told police she had been growing them for personal use.
Police estimated that the potential yield of the plants was between £5,040 and £15,120 worth of cannabis.
High Bailiff Jayne Hughes accepted jurisdiction, despite the value, saying that Callister-Fida had perhaps not understood the yield as unsophisticated growers of the plants.
Mrs Hughes ordered that the probation report for Callister-Fida should consider all options, including custody.
Bail was granted.
