A 24-year-old woman has been fined £750 after a drunken fight outside a kebab shop.
Alexandra Ross, of Marina Road, Douglas, admitted being drunk and disorderly and was also ordered to pay £50 prosecution costs.
Prosecuting advocate Rebecca Cubbon told the court that police were called to Best Kebabs in Castle Street, Douglas, at 5am on August 23 after a report of fighting.
Officers spoke to Ross who was there and she was said to be slurring her words and appeared drunk.

She was said to have been hostile towards police, refusing to give information.
Police then spoke to another woman who was present but as they were doing so, Ross was said to have ran at the woman shouting ’whore’ and punched her in the shoulder and chest area.
She was restrained but continued to kick out and was subsequently arrested.
At police headquarters during an interview, Ross told officers: ’I assaulted her but she is a whore so it doesn’t count.’
Defence advocate Michael Mudge said that the prosecution facts were accepted.
He said: ’Ms Ross is not regularly before the courts. She has a caution but loses her good character today. She has no real explanation why she acted in the manner she did. She is extremely embarrassed to be here and wants to apologise.
’There is no indication you are likely to see her again.’
Deputy High Bailiff Chris Arrowsmith gave Ross credit for her guilty plea and previous good character and also said he had taken into account that she spent some time in custody after being arrested.
He said: ’It appears alcohol has taken the better of Ms Ross. You are fortunate other charges were not put.’
She will pay the fine and costs at a rate of £100 per month.
