A woman has admitted driving while more than three times the drink-drive limit.
Jade Easton, aged 35, of Kentraugh Road, Colby, failed a breathalyser test with a reading of 107 - the legal limit is 35.
She will be sentenced on January 7 next year after a probation report has been completed.
Prosecutor Roger Kane told the court that Easton was seen by a witness driving away from the Shore pub in Gansey at 1.20am on November 17.
The witness said that Easton was on the wrong side of the road and they followed her to Kentraugh Road where she stopped.
The witness then got out and took Easton’s keys from her to stop her driving off before police arrived.
She was said to be smelling of alcohol and slurring her words when police arrived.
Defence advocate Ian Kermode asked for a probation report to be prepared before sentencing.
High Bailiff Jayne Hughes ordered that the report consider all options, including custody.
Bail was granted with a condition that Easton does not drive, resides at her home address, contacts probation, and does not leave the island without court permission.
