The Isle of Man Airport has announced new daily closures due to a shortage of air traffic control officers.

The runway will now be closed between 8:30am to 9.05am, 11am to 11.35am, 1.30pm to 2.15pm, 4pm to 4.35pm and 6.30pm to 7.15pm.

This, the airport says is to meet the minimum requirements for air traffic control officer rest periods.
