Kieran Michael Cain, aged 24, of Victoria Road, Douglas, has had his court case adjourned until June 20.
He is charged with theft, two counts of common assault, and two counts of property damage.
He was represented in court by advocate Paul Glover.
Prosecuting advocate Peter Connick said that a psychiatric report had been passed to the prosecution which they would require time to review.
Bail continues.
