Similar to last night, coastal overtopping and harbour flooding is expected this evening, with an amber warning issued.

the Isle of Man Constabulary said: 'Leave your car somewhere safe tonight! Another large spring tide expected tonight at approximately 11.40pm, again in combination with fresh to strong easterly winds, this resulting in waves breaking over exposed coastal areas for a few hours.

'Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey promenades will be affected, with stones, debris and sand brought ashore.

'Parking is not advised in these areas, clean-up will be required afterwards. Also, the sea height will again be high enough for potential flooding of inner harbours and quaysides in susceptible places (similar height to last night), parts of Douglas, Ramsey and Castletown.'
