The Met Office has issued another amber weather warning.
Forecasters predict some wintry showers later.
The forecast:
Scattered showers will continue to affect the island today, moving through on the fresh north-westerly wind, and turning wintry in any heavier showers particularly over higher ground. Maximum temperature around 7°C.
Dry this evening with temperatures initially dipping as low as 4°C, before gradually recovering as the cloud thickens to bring outbreaks of rain towards midnight. The rain will become more persistent and heavy towards dawn as the light to moderate northwest wind, turns to the southwest and freshens.

Outlook
Wet and windy on Sunday morning with a strong west to southwest wind and heavy outbreaks of rain, however the rain will clear early in the afternoon leaving a dry end to the day with some brightness possible. Highest temperature around 8 or 9°C.
Monday will be cloudy and although mostly dry, the cloud may become thick enough to produce a little light rain or drizzle. The light west to northwest wind will turn to the southwest and strengthen during the day with highs of 10°C.
