An autumn fair will take place at St Matthew’s Church hall on the North Quay in Douglas on October 31.
Among the stalls will be new and nearly new clothes, bric-a-brac, Christmas gifts including toys and bulbs and plants.
There will be tombola stall and a raffle with a star prize of a meal for two.
Ruth Solomon will be signing copies of her latest novel, The Broken Bowl and local author Elizabeth Brooks will also be there to take questions and sign copies of her latest novel ’The Whispering House’, a gothic tale inspired by the home of Agatha Christie.
Entry to the fair is £2 which includes tea, coffee and cake. Admission for children is free.
It will open at 10.30am.
