Students from Ballakermeen High School have visited residents at Springfield Grange in Farmhill, Douglas.

Prefects from Patrick House were there to donate chocolate Easter eggs and a cheque for £100 from their charity fund to the residents’ comfort fund, which is used towards activities for the residents.

Suzy Lucas, a social therapist at Springfield Grange, said the residents were happy to see the students from the school who have been going to the care home annually to meet the residents who were grateful for the eggs.

The students donated about 55 eggs to the residents.

Springfield Grange is owned by Elder Healthcare (IoM) Ltd and opened in 1997.
