A band day in the south of the island will raise money for a new local mental health charity this weekend.

Heavy Mental Health will take place in the Compton Vaults bar, in Castletown, on Sunday, April 7, from midday until 9pm.

It will feature aline up full of local bands, including goth rockers Slow decay, Man in the Woods, Post Code, Post war stories and Chris flood

Gyp Buggane will also be DJing throughout.

The event is raising money for Reach IOM.
