Beach Buddies will return again to Langness - the third time in a month on Sunday.

This part of the island’s coastline has a huge problem with marine litter.

The bay collects rubbish on every tide but it never goes away.

It’s also a sensitive area for bird nesting.

Given the ground conditions, wellies are advised.

Beach Buddies meet on Sunday at 10.30am.

They will start at the small car park which the golfers use, so there’s no need to drive out all the way to the far Langness car park where Beach Buddies’ bin was vandalised recently.

There will be the usual weekly golf competition taking place so volunteers should not walk on the course.

New volunteers continue to come along. There were another 10 last week at the Point of Ayre.

People who take part will need to wear decent footwear (wellies preferably) and clothing including glves to suit the weather.
