Residents in Port St Mary face disruption as Beach Road will be closed for three months for water mains replacement works.

The work is due to take place in three phases from September 23 to Decemeber 31.

The first is from its junction with Station Road to Creggan Lea, the second from Creggan Lea to Rhenwyllan Close and the third is from there to the property Tramman (which is a few properties further along Beach Road).

Port St Mary Commissioners has requested that while the road is closed and parts of it being dug up, highway resurfacing work is also done, to minimise inconvenience for residents.
