Tuesday’s weather forecast has left the Ben-my-chree’s Heysham sailings in doubt.

The Ben is due to sail from Douglas to Heysham at 8.45am on Tuesday morning, returning from the Lancashire port at about 2.15pm.

However, with strong winds forecast, the Steam Packet is advising the sailings may be subject to cancellation or delay.

A final decision is due to be taken by the ship’s master at 7am on Tuesday morning.

If the sailing is cancelled, those who were due to travel that are in possession of a landing card issued by the government will need to complete a new form, however this can be done on board.
