The Steam Packet have announced today’s Ben-my-Chree sailings have been brought forward.

With more stormy weather expected overnight, the company has rescheduled this afternoon’s return boat from Heysham to the island and tonight’s sailings.

The 2.15pm sailing from Heysham will now leave at 1.45pm with check in by 1.20pm at the latest.

Tonight’s 7.45pm sailing will now leave Douglas at 7pm with passengers required to check in by 6.30pm. And the overnight return sailing, due to depart the Lancashire port at 2.15am will now leave Heysham at 12.30am with check in no later than midnight.

A decision on tomorrow’s sailings is due to be made by 7am with the Steam Packet warning of possible cancellations.
