Ramsey Commissioners are to raise no objection to a bid by Against the Grain Ltd to change the use of Unit 1a Gladstone Park to retail, dealing with wholesale ’free-from’ foods and the preparation and sale of ready meals.

Some members felt it might set a precedent that would proliferate and draw business away from the town centre. The majority, however, felt there was no harm in allowing it to go ahead.
