Bright and breezy today with sunny intervals and scattered showers, the showers then becoming more frequent and organised during the late afternoon and evening. Fresh to strong southwest winds, with a maximum temperature of 8 or 9 Celsius.
Tonight the showers will soon become isolated, although any that do occur will turn wintry. Much of tomorrow will then see sunny spells and isolated wintry showers, the showers again possibly becoming more frequent later in the day. Strong to gale force southwest winds tomorrow, possibly touching severe gale force in a few places for a time.
Much quieter on Friday with winds becoming light and otherwise dry and sunny conditions.
