The colourful fun run ’Bubble Rush’ made its anticipated return to Mooragh Park, Ramsey, on Sunday.
The 1.5km family-friendly course featured four bubble stations allocated around the route pumping out blue, pink, yellow or green coloured foam at each one. The participants were met with walls of foam up to 4 ft high, and were able to complete the course as many times as they like.
The run encourages and welcomes all age groups, genders and abilities to participate in the event, which ran from noon until 2pm.
Bubble Rush was raising money for Hospice Isle of Man, a charity which provides specialist palliative care for patients and their families.
A Hospice spokesman said: ’Bubble Rush was absolutely incredible!
’We thoroughly enjoyed the day, couldn’t have asked for better weather and raised lots of money for us here at Hospice.’
The day saw great weather conditions, with temperatures of up to 25C and clear blue skies.
Refreshments were provided on the day by Flo Coffee and Manx Whippy Ice Cream.
The warm ups were led by Clubbercise Isle of Man, which prepared participants for the event.
The event was supported by the Steam Packet Company, which helped cover travel costs. Bubble Rush was sponsored by Microgaming.
