A service celebrating the life of long-time road racer Alan ’Bud’ Jackson will take place in the Parish Church, Kendal on Wednesday, September 19 at 2pm.

This will be followed by burial at Parkside Road Cemetery, and a reception at nearby Kendal Town Football Club.

Bud died in Noble’s Hospital as a result of an incident at Creg-ny-Baa during practice for the Classic TT on August 23.
