Bus passenger numbers have slumped in the wake of the Covid crisis.
The buses have been running to a Sunday schedule since March 25 and the public have been urged not to travel unless absolutely necessary.
Many buses are running empty and are mainly being used only by key workers and those on essential shopping trips.
Bus Vannin is currently recording about 1,000 passenger journeys each day.
This is about a 10th of what it would normally expect to carry.
A spokesman said: ’A normal daily average is difficult to use in comparison, due to variations in the time of year, weather, school holidays etc.
’But a crude calculation from last year’s annual passenger total produces a figure of around 10,000 a day.’
The timetable is under constant review and the latest Covid schedules are available at bus.im
